Artist biography 

Born in Montreal, Anne Landry is a self-taught, realistic painter. Her affinity for oil painting emerged at an early age. After raising her family, Anne rediscovered her passion for the art.

To refine her skills she participated in various workshops given by well-known artists while always preserving her own unique style. Her love of nature and her passion for travels have provided her with endless sources of inspiration.

She is invariably drawn towards the whimsical: a butterfly resting on a flower, a ray of sunlight on the twisted branches of a tree, an old farm house etc,… Colors and light are what she aspires to capture in her paintings.

She is a member of several artist associations. Her paintings are in private collections in Canada, the United States and abroad.

Solo exhibitions

Anne was the artist in residence for several years at the Butterfly Estates gallery of Fort Myers, USA.
