| Marie was born in Goodeve, Saskatchewan. “The Little House on the Prairie” and her Mom’s flower garden are her favourite themes.
She was married in Edmonton, Alberta to a French Canadian, raised five children and after an early retirement from her accounting career of 13 years, started her art in 1994 at Fort Meyers, Florida.
Her many expositions in Jamaica Bay’s Annual Art Shows earned her many ribbons. Also, while in Florida, she was the art Librarian for the art center for six years. Some of her paintings are in Vancouver, Canmore, Alberta, throughout Saskatchewan and Quebec.
Her extended travels throughout Europe, West Africa, South and North America are her art inspiration today. |
