The main idea of Viktoryia’s art works is to combine the simplicity and the beauty of the pressed flowers and the power of vibrant acrylic colors paints.

Recently Viktoryia discovered a new technique of traditional Ukrainian decorative painting style called “Petrykivka’’.

The name of the painting style derives from the village “Petrykivka” located in Dnipro region (southeastern Ukraine). Certain elements of the patterns, such as plants and flowers, represent prosperity, harmony and happiness.

Balanced colors and attention to small details have some meditative effect on the artist, and may act as Art Therapy. Completely devoted to this decorative painting style Viktoryia found a great source of self-reflection and soul healing in it.
